  • 1 inch Fresh ginger, grated or sliced Adjust the amount based on your taste preference.
  • 8 cups Water You can use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
  • 1 cup Mint leaves (optional) Add for extra flavor when serving.

Preparation

  • Cut the watermelon into cubes.
  • Grate or slice fresh ginger.
  • In a pitcher, combine the watermelon cubes and ginger.
  • Add water and stir well.
  • Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to infuse the flavors.
  • Serve chilled, optionally garnished with mint leaves.

Notes

Store any leftover detox water in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in a covered pitcher. Stir before serving again. Feel free to experiment with other fruits like lemon or cucumber for different flavors.
