  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 lemon, sliced Adds a citrus twist to the drink.
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced Can be omitted if not preferred.
  • a handful fresh mint leaves Adjust according to taste.
  • Water Water to fill the pitcher Use cold or room temperature water.

Preparation

  • Wash the strawberries and slice them.
  • Slice the lemon and cucumber.
  • In a pitcher, combine the strawberries, lemon slices, cucumber slices, and mint leaves.
  • Fill the pitcher with water.
  • Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour to infuse the flavors.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

Enjoy in a nice glass with ice. You can add extra mint leaves on top for presentation. Store any leftovers in the fridge, covered, and consume within 2-3 days for best taste.
