Ingredients
  

Fruit and Greens

  • 1 whole lemon
  • 1 whole orange
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves

Sweetener and Liquid

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Add for sweetness if desired
  • as needed water Add to achieve desired consistency

Instructions
 

Juicing

  • Squeeze the juice from the lemon and orange into a blender.
  • Add the fresh lettuce leaves to the blender.
  • If desired, add honey for sweetness.
  • Add water to achieve your desired consistency.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Strain through a fine mesh if you prefer a smoother juice.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

Best served chilled in a nice glass. Pair with a light snack or enjoy on its own. Add a slice of lemon or orange on the rim for garnish. Store leftover juice in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 24 hours.
