Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.

Cooking

  • Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush the honey mixture generously over the surface.
  • Bake in the oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
  • Once heated through and caramelized, remove from oven and let rest before slicing.
