Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  • Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add chicken, cooking until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Pour the honey mixture over the chicken, reduce heat, and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is fully coated in the honey sauce for the best flavor. You can add a splash of lemon juice for a tangy twist! If you like it spicy, a dash of red pepper flakes can add some heat. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
