  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce or tamari for a gluten-free option.
  • 2 tablespoons agave
  • Rice (for serving) Best served over cooked rice.

Cooking

  • Set a wok or skillet over high heat.
  • Add the neutral oil, then the grated ginger and garlic. Stir until they turn yellow, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the ground beef and salt. Crumble the beef and cook until it is no longer pink, about 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the soy sauce and agave. Cook until the mixture is slightly darker, about 1 minute.
  • Serve the stir-fry over rice.

Notes

Ground Beef Stir-Fry is best served hot. You can customize with additional vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers, and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
