  • 6 pieces hard-boiled eggs Hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Adjust to your taste preference.
  • 1 teaspoon mustard Can use yellow or dijon mustard.

Coating and Frying

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Regular or panko breadcrumbs can be used.
  • as needed Oil for frying Use enough oil to submerge the eggs.

Preparation

  • Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  • In a bowl, mix the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture.
  • Dip each filled egg in breadcrumbs, covering them well.

Frying

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the breadcrumb-coated eggs until they turn golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying for that crispy texture. You can add spices or cheese to the yolk mixture for a fun twist! Adjust ingredients to your liking.
