  • 500 g chicken mince
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece carrot, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion, garlic, carrot, and celery; sauté until soft.
  • Add the chicken mince and cook until browned.
  • Stir in mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in the cream and cook until heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve warm over rice or with crusty bread. Pairs well with mashed potatoes. Let leftovers cool before storing; lasts up to 3 days in the fridge or 1 month in the freezer.
