  • 2 large large carrots Washed and peeled
  • 1 cup fresh spinach Thoroughly washed
  • 1 medium apple (optional) Cored and chopped if using
  • 1/2 medium lemon (optional) Juiced for acidity
  • Water As needed to reach desired consistency

Preparation

  • Wash and peel the carrots.
  • Wash the spinach thoroughly.
  • If using, core and chop the apple.

Juicing

  • Juice the carrots and spinach together in a juicer.
  • If desired, juice the apple and incorporate it for sweetness.
  • Juice the half lemon and mix for added acidity.
  • Add water to reach your desired consistency, stir, and serve chilled.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best taste. If you want it sweeter, add more apple. Try using baby spinach for a milder flavor. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge and consume within 24 hours for optimal taste and nutrition.
