Ingredients
  

For the slice

  • 200 g Caramilk chocolate Alternatively, any chocolate can be used.
  • 397 g Sweetened condensed milk Use full fat for a richer taste.
  • 250 g Biscuit crumbs Plain digestive biscuits work well.
  • 100 g Desiccated coconut Can substitute with crushed nuts for variety.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a slice tin with baking paper.
  • In a saucepan, melt the Caramilk chocolate and sweetened condensed milk together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit crumbs and desiccated coconut.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared tin, smoothing the top.

Baking

  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until set, then allow to cool before slicing into pieces.

Notes

Store any leftover slices in an airtight container at room temperature for several days, or refrigerate them for longer storage. Enjoy with tea or coffee!
