Preparation

  • Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  • Allow to cool slightly.
  • In another bowl, whip the thickened cream until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream until well combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

You can serve the mousse in individual glasses or bowls. Top with fresh berries, chocolate shavings, or cocoa powder for added flair. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to three days; stir before serving if separated. Chill longer for a firmer texture. Consider adding vanilla extract or citrus zest for extra flavor.
